Mrs. Fiorillo

My name is Rosemarie Fiorillo. I am the ICR/Special Education Teacher in Kindergarten and First Grade. I enjoy working with students in both age groups and watching them grow.

I have always known I wanted to be a teacher from a young age. I remember setting up my stuffed animals on my bed and pretending to teach them. So when I graduated from high school, I knew I wanted to attend St.Joseph's College because it was the best teaching college in New York. I graduated from St. Joseph's College in New York with a major in Child Study including Special Education. I went on to receive a Masters in Reading as well as Administration and Supervision. I have 9 years of experience teaching at the elementary grade school level in public schools. I decided to take some time off to raise my children. During this time, I worked part time as a Developmental Instruction Therapist for Early Intervention for the states of New York and New Jersey.

I moved to Monroe Township five years ago. I have two children, ages 7 and 5. I love to read, cook and enjoy making memories with my family.

I love teaching! My mission as a teacher is to help children discover the joy of learning and to help each child develop a strong belief in his or her own ability. I want them to do their best and to have a sense of pride in doing so.
