Teacher Bio

My name is Jennifer Saldarini. I am a Kutztown University graduate, with certifications in both special education and elementary education. This is my 12th year teaching at Schoenly School, serving first as an in class support and resource room teacher for kindergarten and first grades for one year, and as first grade classroom teacher ever since. I truly consider myself to be a life-long learner who is constantly trying to develop my craft and make my classroom a fun, warm and engaging environment. I myself need to do things, to really learn, so I make sure that my classroom is full of hands-on activities and movement. I bring my passion for both learning and teaching to the classroom every day!

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband Dave and two young daughters, Ava and Gabriella. Together we enjoy traveling, going to sporting events (Go Yankees! Go Devils!) and doing anything outdoors. You can find us out for a walk, playing at the park or down at the Jersey shore in our free time. I love story telling and look forward to sharing stories of all of these adventures with my students.
